At Home in the Local Churches

I am a believer working at Vanguard Research near Washington DC. In January 1986 I got saved at the local church in Seoul, meeting hall four. Then in 1987 I met with the church in Bu-Cheon. The end of August, 1987 I studied abroad in the United States and I met with the church in Dunn Loring. At the end of 1990 I finished my Masters and from 1991~1992, I attended the Full Time Training in Anaheim. After that I met with the church in Fullerton for a while. Then, in August 1993 while meeting with the church in Chicago I got married to a sister in the Lord. After that, for about four years I served the Lord full time and I raised up two sons. Then in September 1997 I moved back to the church in Dunn Loring. My experience in the local church has been a life of traveling. Whenever the Lord moves, we move with Him like the experience of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Abraham experienced the Lord's calling and promise, Isaac experienced all the riches of God's inheritance and His grace, and Jacob experienced God's choosing and being broken and transformed to express God and reign in glory.

I began to understand Witness Lee's ministry, after I came to the United States, for the 1987 winter Bible conference. His speaking was filled with the Holy Spirit. Then I attended a Bible conference twice a year. Through the conferences my spirit was revived and I fully felt filled within by the Holy Spirit. From that time I was interested in the Full-Time Training and, by the Lord's mercy, I was able to attend it.
